Chapter 1: Alana's Hollow
Cleo and Alana were like dragons on a deer, the second Aya crossed the threshold into Alana's Hollow they dove upon her.
"Where the hell have you been?" Screeched Cleo, her face was contorted into a mixture of anger, worry, and happiness.
"We've been worried sick about you!" Shrieked the red headed Alana. Trekayenne, her Fire Dragon, roared in response to its Ryder's distress.
"Enough!" Boomed Ian's twin, Cloud, "Let Aya have a chance to speak for her actions."
"I'm sorry I didn't call earlier," mumbled Aya, "I got drunk and passed out last night, and Flare took me to her apartment 'cause she didn't know who any of you were and she didn't wana leave me out cold on the dance floor..."
"Do you have any idea how dangerous that is!" Howled Cleo, "You could of been raped, or killed or-or even worst!"
"I'm - I'm sorry..." Whimpered Aya, her eyes filled with tears, "I'll never do it again I promise!"
Flare stepped into view and pulled Aya close to her, "Now look what you did!" She Growled, "You've made the pretty angel cry. I'm sure everybody gets a little too drunk from time to time and ends up going home with a stranger, you can't make it seem like its all her fault. Its mostly my fault for taking her out on the dance floor when she was that drunk."
"You must be Flare then." Said Cleo, her deep violet eyes flashing.
"I seem to recall a certain violet haired girl getting drunk at the Underground-," Said Ian, just as an alarm blared
"By Ashari's silvery wings!" Cried Cloud, "Why can't they give us a break!?"
Alana ran towards the entrance to Trekayenne's Den, followed by the others, "Aya," She said, as she pulled on her riding gloves and mask, "No matter what happens stay in the Hollow, we'll be back as soon as possible."
Flare looked around the room, it was a large circular cavern room, styled like most Hollows. In the center was a large depression had been made, this was the "living room" of the Hollow, beyond that was a crude kitchen/dinning area. To the left, of where she was standing, were three small archways that led to the bedrooms; to the right, a larger opening led to the Dragon's Den.
Aya frowned and stomped down the stairs into the main living area, and plopped down on a couch, "It's not fair!" She cried.
"What's not fair, pretty angel?" Asked Flare, walking over and sitting next to Aya.
"I'm not allowed to fight!" Grumbled Aya.
Flare pulled Aya close to her,"Why not?" She asked.
"'Cause I'm a Dragon Chyld." replied Aya, "I don't even know what a Dragon Chyld is, and every time I ask they always ignore me."
Flare smiled, "You wana know a secret?"
"What?"
"I'm a Dragon Chyld too." Siad Flare, " You and I are very important because we have the ability to summon a Greater Dragon." She leans over and gives Aya a quick kiss on the lips, "But that doesn't mean that they can keep you locked up like a prisoner."
Aya blushed and pulled away from Flare, "What do you mean?"
Flare rose, "Do you want to go to town?" she asked, holding out her hand.
"But Alana siad to stay here." replied Aya.
"Do you always have to do what Alana says?" inquired Flare.
"Well, no but..." began Aya.
"Good." said Flare. She grabed Aya by the wrist and pulled her out the door.
"What's a matter pretty angel?" asked Flare, giving Aya a quick hug.
Aya flinched and blushed, staining her pale cheaks a bright red, "I'msorryI'mnotusedto..."
"Slow down!" exclaim Flare with a laugh, "I didn't understand a word you just said."
" I said I was sorry, I'm not used to - this." mumbled Aya, her blush deepening as a goup of people passed.
"Being with another woman, or being around large goups of people when with another woman?" asked Flare
"Well," murmmered Aya looking down at the sidewalk, "kinda both."
Flare lifted Aya's chin so she could see into the shorter girls eyes, "Then lest's go to some place more private and talk this out."
